Glorious Platinum and Pink 18k Bar Brooch with Diamonds and Pearls
During the early Victorian era, jewelry designs became much more realistic, with intricate details. This era was known for its romantic, bold, feminine designs and exquisite craftsmanship. Nature-inspired designs of foliage and floral patterns were widespread. Lovers were deeply enlivened by secret languages assigned to their flower rings. Different flowers conveyed special messages of love and emotion.
A glorious Early 20th Century English transitional jewel, I absolutely adore this rare example with her invisibly set pearls and milgrain bezel set diamonds. Transitioning out of the 19th into the 20th century, this lovely brooch features the floral cluster design that was so popular in that period.
