Black Enamel and Pearl Ring with OMC and Rose-Cut Diamonds

Sale price Price $1,950.00 Regular price $2,350.00

Victorian jewelry is as complex in its symbolism, sentiment, and design as the fashion, architecture, and decor of the time. Worn as an ornament, a love token, or a remembrance, jewelry not only completed the well-dressed lady’s costume but also denoted her position in society, her marital status, and her sense of self.

Few memorial jewels contain a lightness in construction, and this beautiful late 1860s band does just that- with flowing panels of pearls and diamonds, this ring also boasts cutouts and a fully enameled band. Some wear to enamel, slight repair on the band, to be expected.
