The beginning of the 20th century greatly inspired the geometry of mid century jewels, like this special Chrysoprase cabochon. The Art Deco period embraced modernism and the advances in technological innovation and machinery. A new genre of design was born – bold, geometric shapes with clean lines and symmetry, providing a more industrial feel… the 1950’s saw those shapes become even more commanding, in cocktail rings that formed the old Hollywood silhouette.
This green goddess of a ring features a chrysoprase panel, a stunning small round diamonds on the shoulders. Chrysoprase is one of the birthstones for May and has traditionally symbolized happiness, enterprise, and prudence. It is a powerful stone that brings good fortune and prosperity.
