Of all the sentimental motifs in jewelry design, the lover’s knot is one of my favorites. An interlacing pattern with no discernible beginning representithe the unbreakable bond between lovers, it communicates a simple but powerful message through an elegant, easy-to-wear motif. For the romantically inclined, it’s pretty much perfect.
A rare, Victorian pink gold chain with 24 stunning Lovers Knot stations, interspersed between sizable paperclip links. This particular example has the most wonderful coloring and a real presence on the neck; the chain may seem thin but the intricacy of the links renders it a standout example.
