Victorian Pearl Paste Earrings in 14k

Sale price Price $595.00 Regular price

Paste jewelry is a special type of flint glass that emulates a number of gemstones. The origins of Paste jewelry date back to the mid-18th century. Much of the beauty and appeal of antique Paste jewelry is that it was such a difficult and labor-intensive thing to produce. The special Paste glass was cut and polished by hand so that is shone and glittered. Sometimes the craftsmanship was so superb that you couldn't tell the difference between a paste and the real thing.

This pair features three paste pearls, each in the center of a flower, and are dainty additions to any look or collection!
