Victorian R Initial Earrings in Black Enamel and 14k

Sale price Price $2,000.00 Regular price $2,550.00

By the 19th century, it was common for many Victorian citizens to own a sentimental memento with initials carved into gold- and silver-plated accessories. Beforehand, monogrammed items were used to identify the work of local artisans and organizations synonymous with regional kingdoms.

The decorative trend of signature mementos became increasingly popular during the Victorian Era and could be seen on lockets, signet rings, earrings, silverware, and other metal-based novelties.

Not only does this stunning pair feature flowers and leaves in the Aesthetic Movement manner, but the massive R initials featured at the bottom truly sets these apart. These earrings radiate identity and individuality.
