Stunning Vintage 14k Amethyst and Diamond Cocktail Ring
Queen Victoria loved her jewels and had one for every occasion. Prior to the Victorian Era, however, we primarily saw jewelry as menswear. One phenomenon is the cocktail ring - one of the most desirable types of jewelry for genuine jewelry aficionados. They’re stylish, at times dramatic, great conversation starters, and packed with historical context.
Typically, a cocktail ring is a gemstone ring, traditionally worn to dinner parties, that usually features a prominent gemstone in the center. This example is not only compelling in height, size, and shape, this cocktail ring from the late 1990's also features a sizable, boat-like amethyst with pink and lavender notes set east-west.
