Pristine 18k Victorian Ruby and Diamond Floral Spray Ring with Silver Top
Saying it with flowers has been passed down throughout the centuries. Floral motifs were designed in all styles of antique jewelry during the Victorian era, but perhaps the most predominant categories were rings, pendants, and brooches.
Although usually seen more often in brooches, extreme sprays of diamond-encrusted flowers and large corsage ornaments sometimes featured naturalistic-hued gemstones that resemble leaves or flowers. In this case, we have a loud and proud floral spray ring featuring 1.85ctw of diamonds with a lovely line of rubies. Delicate, feminine, and captivating, the range of small diamonds and colored gemstones catch the light and create a sublime sparkle.
Often associated with wealth and prosperity, many ancient crowns were decorated with rubies. The ruby's deep red color also has ties to love, passion, and raw emotion.
