One of the most notable hallmarks of Georgian jewelry is its incredibly ornate metal work. Only hand fabrication could achieve this level of artistry. Furthermore, hand-crafted jewelry doesn’t have porosity (surface pitting in the metal).

The Georgian era saw a lot of dainty and symbolic stacking rings – an early echo of the contemporary stacking trend. Dig around to find beautiful acrostic rings and rings with hands clasped or holding a flower – all typical of this time - but this babe stands out. 

Carnelian symbolizes bold energy, warmth, and joy that lingers as much as it empowers and stimulates. This early 19th-century conversion ring sings in a rich, dessert-toned carnelian. The caned detail around the exterior creates a most beautiful frame for this large, glowing carnelian specimen.
