A special, hard to find almandine garnet and diamond halo ring with a starburst reverse- this sweet little changeling has had a colorful past (a central element of one shoulder is missing) and many stories… but here she is and she is ours! Likely from the year 1800 or thereabout, I appreciate her condition as an integral part of her history, and her price as an opportunity for someone with a larger finger, who perhaps would not normally be able to acquire a jewel from this period, to adopt her!
Materials: Garnet, diamond
Measurements: Ring size 9.5, 2.3g in weight
Condition: One shoulder element is missing, one diamond is replaced, and the original central stone does have a scratch- we’d be happy to ask our jeweler to polish by request.
Please view and inspect any photos closely. We endeavor to fully disclose all condition information clearly and concisely, however, please note that what qualifies as excellent condition for historical jewelry differs from modern and contemporary pieces; please take the age of the piece into account when examining the piece. Minor age wear is typical and to be expected for antique and vintage jewelry.
