Foiled Rose-Cut Diamond Solitaire

Sale price Price $1,150.00 Regular price

Foil backing (or foiling) is a gemstone surface enhancement technique where a thin sheet of metal or other material (sometimes colored) is placed behind the gemstone in order to reflect more light, and/or color, back into the stone and then towards the viewer. A precious example we have here.

A sweet petite rose-cut diamond is found before a simmering foil, bezeled and closed back set in sterling silver, perched atop a crown-like 18kt setting with a well-worn band that warms to the touch.
